Net gain of 1 point yesterday. His Tarasenko+Fleury+Ekblad got 28 points, my Byfuglien+Sedin got me 27. I had 2 others get +1, and then we had a couple of the same guys.

Anyone who happened to get that hockey sim game I mentioned on here in the past, the 2015/16 roster pack is out. PM me if you want a link. I just fired it up myself.

Quick obvious info:

McDavid is better than Eichel in the flashy skills, Eichel a bit better in the physical (hitting, aggression) skills. Not sure that acceleration is a fair comparison, but I haven't watched McDavid either (81 rating for McDavid, 65 for Eichel...11 points higher in speed for McDavid too)

Both guys are way above average skaters. McDavid's first 3 steps are just insane. He is definitely faster. The biggest difference is that Eichel is a more powerful skater. He's harder to knock off his feet and his stride drives through the ice. But of the 2, McDavid is definitely faster.

McDavid or Eichel? Because what you just described is Eichel. McDavid is more of a pure speed type guy. The crazy part is that his brain also processes what's going on around him at the same rate. It's why he's so damn good.

I just pictured him as a bit thicker-bodied than Eichel and to me it seemed the play he was making he was coming in from the wing and just steadily able to get through, rather than speeding past anyone.

I've been watching stuff on netflix and youtube if the Sabres aren't on, not much other hockey really.

Just looked in my game and Eichel is indeed bigger, as you mention...not sure why, but he seems smaller for some reason to me. Oh well, guess being wrong for the first time was inevitable.

I'm curious of when these measurements were taken and submitted to the NHL for their site. The only reason I wonder is because they were reporting that Eichel bulked up with 10 lbs of muscle over the summer.

Excited to be in Buffalo tonight for the Sabres/Lightning game. I've always had a great time at Sabres home games. FNC is a great place to watch a game and you Sabres fans are always first class (Especially when you're playing the Leafs!).
