Guessing the ducks have a similar problem The internal budget will force them to do something if not during the year then probably at the draft. I have reservations about fowlers defensive game but we really do need a lefty who can put up some points. - Sabresfan-365
I like Fowler but we really don't NEED to do anything right away IMO. I'd like to see Bogo back but I do agree with you, we need a LHD |

5 mil and 4.6 seem like pretty reasonable cap hits by today's standards. If Ennis is who they are after I would ask for a prospect like Kerdiles coming back - MCGUIZZY
I just didn't know if they wanted Ennis and his contract at 4.6 if they can still be able to pay both of those guys 4- 5 mill each a year. I stink at math |

You're right but they got key rfa that need to be paid and they don't have the ability to spend up to the cap |

I love this team, ROR is the real (frank)in deal, but kane... - SRam19
Yeah, so far we got sheet in return for Stafford, Myers, and the 1st we sent to the Peg.
and Stafford is playing decent |

They are reasonable, but the Ducks struggle to turn a profit and have an internal cap. It's amazing how empty that arena is with how good the team has been as of late... not counting the start to this season. |

All we really need, and I say that loosely, is a winger that will put in Eichel's passes. He can't buy an assist right now. |

It fills up later in the year, doesn't it?
I often wonder what attendance would be like early in the NHL season here if Bob Rich ever landed that baseball team, and it was even modestly successful (i.e. postseason appearances every once in a while).
Factor in a place like Anaheim where there is tons more to do, and hockey in the fall is going to suffer with attendance. |

Stafford doesn't count anyways, he was a UFA and he's in Winnipeg now on his own after signing a new contract.
It's a long-play sort of trade, but we definitely need to start seeing things happen this season (which has 70 games to go yet BTW) |

Hardly. Sellouts usually occur from opposing fans in the stands. Prior to the last two seasons, the Buffalo/Anaheim game would be heavy handed on Sabres fans. Ingram Micro has a center in Orange County, so they get a bunch of tickets in the lower bowl. If it's not a team that has a large fan base, you will not likely see a sell out.
Playoffs are a slightly better for Ducks fans, but the lower bowl is empty for a majority of the 1st period. Partially because traffic and parking near there is a nightmare. |

Evander is probably our best bet for that |

One thing that bothers me about the NHL is the lack of reporting injuries. I know that they keep it at "upper-body" and "lower-body" injury, but it seems the time-tables that are given sometimes are so vague it gets on my nerves. (ex. Bogo) |

My response to that is why are they able to disclose more injury details in the NFL (maybe I'm confused), and give pretty accurate time-tables? Is there something special with the NHL? |

Stafford was also addition by subtraction. He had a loser lazy mindset and needed to leave for his benefit and the organizations. I'm glad he has a chance to reset and that would not have happened here. IMO |

A few years back 10? a friend worked in medical billing. Sabres players cases were there to see. Not anymore. |

Called HIPAA and that's exactly why the laws are in place, because of jokesters "hey dude, wanna see Miro Satans whole medical records? Check this out", like your "friend". |

one thing I like about the forwards that murray has put together, as well as the style Bylsma coaches, they're always on the back-check and are defensively aware...I can't remember more than one time where there was a tire-fire in the buffalo zone leading to a goal...
although it's not the solution, it sure helps - Michael Pachla
Yeah, to me that's by far the biggest difference. The tenacious back-check.

Bogo was week-to-week, then he had setback, so he's still to week-to-week. The season's only 4 weeks old. |

"There were concerns that turned into doubts, and that happened very early on in the investigation, before we were even involved,” Sedita said.
Not to rehash this but that right there shows there is no chance Kane paid her off. |
