My buddy took me to Lagerhaus last night.

That place is a solid C-. [I won't ask to go back.]

Legwand made me yell at the TV last night. Good news actually sans Legwands sillines, dude is a 10+ year vet, wtf are you doing - Yelling at The TV tells me I'm vested again full time, Tank seasons, there was no yelling. You knew not to yell. You smiled on the inside. But happy to say, those seasons are done.

I don't mind lagerhaus, good stop for pregame...had a friend take me to a place not too far that has a nice bourbon selection, can't remember the name, however...

I've only been there twice, and the first experience was just about what I'd call awful. The bartender was a total b!tch and I wasn't that impressed with the food. Went again before the prospect tournament and everything was better (especially the service) but overall it's one of those places that if I never went again I wouldn't care.

Yea I was bummed.

Was hoping for a better fate last night.

I am back to getting angry when they lose also and I kinda like that in a strange way.

Certainly is Michael.

All I keep thinking about is goaltending and if we really had a legit #1 how things would perhaps play out a bit differently, even this year.

Sigh.

Even Ryan Miller I believe would get this team into the playoffs this season.

yup...but i'm not too worried this season and even into the near future

My only concern is that they will hesitate to keep giving the lion's share of the workload to Ullmark.

The thing I noticed was that Jack decided that he wanted to do it all himself on the ice.

If he can find some capable wingers, it may explode.

I wouldn't hate the idea of Eichel with O'Reilly and Ennis. With O'Reilly on the wing and taking strong side faceoffs.

Or maybe more time with Reinhart.

I am in the same boat. Ambition and attention are at an all time low.

Hopefully the weekend will allow me to recharge.

There's another level that has to come together - and hasn't yet. Until that does, even a true mature Number 1 won't get us to the playoffs.

In Bylsma's presser after the Isels game on Sunday, he said that the team was finally starting to get comfortable enough in his new system that they could just react and play naturally , instead of thinking about what they were supposed to do. We saw last night that the team still isn't all the way there. Until they can just flat PLAY, and not think about HOW TO PLAY, this isn't playoff team.

Umbrella help, perhaps?

Went to my first game this season last night 12 rows up behind the penalty box center ice. Got to see Eichels goal perfectly, he is so much more impressive to watch in person. Mad that we lost, but glad i got to see him score. Place went nuts and hearing the little 5-10 year old kids cheering his name every time he is on the ice is awesome. And got to meet Tim Murray at 716 before the game. He looks just as miserable in person lol.
