I just watched the recap of the game. Dallas is just (frank)ing ugly. They invited the Sens to a giant pizza party.

Check out these beautiful turnovers.

They manage to score their way outta a lot of their problems. Just imagine if they can ever figure out to play defence. I wouldn't be surprised if they have inquired about Harmonic.

Sheeeeet.
Now Kaptaan is going to be all over the return of Weise to Vancouver rumour you just started

- dbot

i thought about it, but Weise is better off with a fanbase that appreciates his talent on the ice as a solid 3rd line player...

Benning is actually doing some decent contracts. Sbisa is not making the same screw ups as last year, is the only Dman will guts and that can make a decent hit. 3.6 for two more years for the only sandpaper on the back end, I'll take it.

Bartowski, 1.7 brings speed and some offence , still young and can on occassion be abrasive .

Sutter top 6 plays all situations , young and part of the future core. 4.3

Last year people on here said if Dorsett wanted 4 mil sign him. We signed him at 2.6 . To me that's his worst signing.

Prust . People laughed. We are a more difficult team with him in the line up

He is nowhere near as bad as some fans think he is.

some people are just negative and like to post shiite against the team and the decisions that the GM makes... we saw those people during MGs term and it seems the same people have turned on JB as well... i wouldn't be surprised if they exist in a cloud of negativity in general.

people should breathe with a purpose taking full breaths, its better for their body and mental outlook.

many illnesses can be traced back to stress and anxiety. also, have more fibre, greens, and both dried (nuts) and fresh fruits in your diet. if you drink water try and squeeze and put a lime in it... the alkaline effects of the lime plus the vitamin c are good for you.

I am not going to go that far.

Canucks over the years have given fans lots to talk about and scratch their heads over. It is not like these fans just wake up and start cursing the team. They have been spiralling since 2011 but seem to have it corrected now.

I was just looking at our Comets roster and seen we have a ton of RFAs next year .

Biega is UFA and I would try to renegotiate with him seeing he can step in and play.

I will put these guys in the trade them category . Jensen Vey, and add Sven Baertschi.

Re-sign them category Pedan, Grenier , Kenins Freisen ( for the Comets) Canata (for the Comets )

The l don't care care what they do Category Bloomstrand Fox Jones

Hoping that Brisebois and Neil are on the roster ( Comets) next year.

torts liked jensen so trade him to columbus for whatever you can get. Vey is a useless pile, but sven I have hope for.

I know it's early with Sven , but this is his second tour of duty, I don't see anything special in him. He to me just looks like a serviceable third liner.

there are several examples of players that other teams gave up on that blossomed later to superstars. Naslund and esp bertuzzi were canuck examples. btw a rule of thumb in the case of power forwards is they come to fruition around age 26

Sven is too small to be a power forward. For the few like Naslund that do flourish later in their careers , there are hundreds that prove what you see is what you get.

Canucks will not hold on to Sven for 4 years with him playing like this.

Interesting graph from the Pens blogger...

Interesting to see that the canucks made the cup final with an enormous amount of man-games lost.

That 2011 team was something else...

Here is a dose of dreaming. If Tryemkin is ready next year, Canucks don't have to make a big splash in the off season to land the big Dman .

Edler Hutton Tanev as top 3 to the disapproval of some. Hamhuis Weber out , Tryemkin , Pedan in. I have heard it a few times that JB really likes Bartowski.

Edler Tanev
Hutton Tryemkin
Sbisa Bartowski

Pedan.

Tanev and Pedan are the only RHD.

They could spend the money on two top 6 wingers

I am having a hard time judging Sven until the team decides what they want from him. I have liked what I have seen in small doses but either they let him work it out like they did Vey, or they move on. I think realistically he can be a good 2nd line winger, but if the team doesnt help him bust his scoring slump there isn't much else he can do. Defensively and positionally he has looked fine, just isnt producing which is hard to do from the pressbox

I haven't seen the dazzle, I have just seen the OK.

I am trying not to be hard seeing he is a kid , but I have seen nothing to prove top 6 and he doesn't have the grit or tenacity to be bottom 6 .

He can be pulled from the lineup without implications. I think he should continue to be scratched and earn his minutes , not just be handed them

Thats actually a really interesting graph. Takes a good amount of luck to remain healthy for so long and apparently it pays off. Canucks for a while did a solid job carrying 7-8 NHL caliber D to combat the injuries but its a tough go when you lose quality players

I think that's how I feel about him. I can see the top-6 skill, but hasn't been more than OK, whereas you want your top-6 to at least be good.

I dont mind him bouncing around the lineup and earning his minutes, but some PP2 time could help his confidence and bump the slump.
