There are a couple of maybe-sorta reasons, I guess...
1) Fans get to see more variety in jerseys if the road team wears their darks.
2) Whiteouts are just visually cooler and make more sense with home whites.
3) It was a long-standing tradition in the NHL (not logical, just sentimental).
But honestly? None of those reasons do it for me. I just like home whites, and I'm sure I'm in the minority on that... Oh well. |

Nice come back win for the B's over the Rags today. Queenie didn't deserve to win after that ridiculous dive. |

The first one is the key for me... It's stupid to go to games and see 29 variations of white opponents. I want to see Detroit in Red, Toronto in Blue, etc. |

Very much desirous of being entertained tonight. A little bit of swagger would be a bonus.
For once I'd just like to see them jump a team. They used to dive into the deep end to start out games and then get outplayed and let teams back in. Now they wade their toe in the kiddie pool for 20 minutes.
I want to see one of those old-school first five minutes where the Penguins just overwhelm the opponent with their talent. |

Yeah Aussie we have Sparrows here as well. In fact they are the most common bird around. Except here where I live where the sky is filled with disgusting crows. If you make a loud enough noise day turns to night momentarily because the sky is full of the b@stards. Not that this has anything to do with the game tonight. Is it for sure they are going back to the early 90s style uniforms? What about the jersey from the snoop dog video with PITTSBURGH running diagonally down it. Or the triangle sparrow jersey? Or better yet something completely new. Addidas is now making the jersey now though RW no longer Reebok. Even though Adidas owns reebok and CCM. There is only like 2 athletic wear companies, Adidas and Nike own EVERYTHING. |

Why would you want white at home? The rest of the league wont change to white at home so the pens would just always be in white. How lame would that be? |

Now bring back the diagonal Pittsburgh for their alternate |

A 6-0 game where geno gets a hatty and Sid gets like 4 assists |

It's ok scuderi, just give Dubinsky al day to shoot. I'm sure staring at him hard enough will make him not shoot |

Not happy so far at all. Every time I see Scuderi and that stupid bucket on his head my blood boils. No visor is for tough guys and you would break something if you even attempted to be physical. I think if the Boob Jackets score first this game is over. |

Funny story talking crows, we had a comedian (Graham Kennedy), here that was huge through the 70's till his death 2005. Big on TV & hosted heaps of shows. In the 70's when swearing was not even thought about let alone done on TV, he was talking about crows & let out a huge Ffffffffaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrkkkkkkkkkk! Hilarious (I never actually saw it too young), pretty sure it was live as well, but have seen the video - Blankety Blanks was the show I think. |

I'm a fan of some Autralian entertainment for sure but I have never heard of that guy. I spent an evening with some good old Australian boys a few weeks ago in the band Parkway Drive. I like the show Underbelly and that Bikie wars mini series is excellent. Most of the cast of Spartacus was from Aussie land too. |
