As someone noted earlier, the team is looking like they are playing well, and are superior to last year's squad. When Pasta and K. Miller come back, we will finally see what our uninjured team will look like (knock on wood).

Do we think Trotman has looked unquestionably better than K. Miller?

I'm really hoping Pasta plays on a line with either Spooner and Vatrano, or Krejci and Vatrano. I have no idea what Cluade is going to throw out there next.

When Pittsburgh Penguins forward Matt Cooke effectively ended the career of Boston Bruins centre Marc Savard with a crushing blindside hit to the head, the blow sent shudders through the hockey world.

It also sent Colin Campbell, then the NHL's senior vice-president of operations, to his computer, where he exchanged emails about the incident with Mike Milbury, a former NHL player, coach and general manager turned TV analyst.

Milbury asked Campbell, "Is intent to injure a stand alone call?"

Lookin' for a sweep of the Western Canadian Teams.

We're primed to be in a top 3 seed in the next week. The teams have played 2, 3 , and 4 games more than us with only 2, 3, and 14 point advantages over us. We should sweep those teams. Who knows what will happen though, have only played two other late games this year. Anything can happen when you throw irrelevant obstacles at the team.

If they sweep this road trip they'll be posturing themselves very well for the rest of the season. As it is, I think the top 9 is set in the east with FLA mayyybe making it a 10 team race. Unless something crazy happens, things are looking good

NYR, NYI, Pitts, Wash, Jersey, Philly

I don't really see Philly, Jersey, or Florida being playoff teams, but I don't think Ottawa or Pitts are teams that you guarantee a spot.
