Get under Crosby's skin early and often, he'll be crying to the ref's the whole game and you'll have a chance. |

Oilers decision with Reinhard was a common sense move,I'm not concern at all with Reinhard He will be a good one, but PC needs time to make proper move for the Future D and that starts next season unless He can trade Fayne this season or by a miracle someone takes Ference (Christmas is coming maybe there's a miracle), anyways Go Oilers Go! |

It may look that way right now but still to early to know for sure. |

You're right, but I said it when the trade happened. He was drafted high and excelled in juniors because of his size and didn't dominate in his overage years. He has a long way to go. |

Gave up way too much for him
True but they had to take a chance, the blue line is in dire needs of upgrades so I'm ok with Mgmt taking a chance on a young defenceman, being only 24.
I am not one of those people, but naturally I’m disappointed Reinhart couldn’t establish himself in the NHL immediately.
Some people use this as motivation to improve and it's usually a mental thing with athletes. This is the time for Griffen to dig down inside himself and say "do or die time." That type of mindset can turn players right around. It's what a lot of Oilers are missing, that desire to want it more than their opponents. That's all that separates one athlete from outperforming another. (See Crosby) |

Agreed....but...we had picks to spare so it wasn't franchise crippling. That and the fact that the franchise couldn't possible be crippled any further. |

Target the neck, it's apparently sore even though he took a love tap worth a 20 game suspension from Dubinsky and played the very next shift. |

Yeah he's no different than Eric Gudbranson or Luke Schenn....and for that reason I also think Ekblad will top out early and later drafted D will end up better by the time they're 25, not unlike Tyler Myers. |

The 2nd part of your post was pie in the sky gibberish but I agree with the first bit 100%. |

It will be interesting to see how Nilsson can establish himself with a good start today. It would be nice to see a guy grab the reins and get on a bit of a run playing solid games. |

I'm sure he'll be 'OK'.
That's the highest expectation I could put on any player in this ass backwards joke of a team. |

I think he's a joke, overrated and has done nothing. McDavid is what attracted Sekeras, Letestu and Coach Todd.
But I'm an apparent Mac T apologist, remember? |

Crosby's a great player but a whiny little focker, I can't bring myself to debate about him or the Penguins.
I can debate all day long about what the Oilers should do about their nine year mess though LOL |

Hopefully the Refs will pull off their blinders tonight, Edmonton has been getting shafted by them since the start of the season. - hunter3333
They've been getting shafted for nine years, and not just by the refs!! |

You can try, but nobody here will listen. You can't change anything that already happened but I would not hesitate to make wholesale changes right now.
If this team could somehow trade RNH, Yak/Eberle our 2016 1st plus whatever useless prospects, roster players and picks we have floating around for grizzled players To fill a spot in the top 6, top pair and between the pipes I would do it yesterday. |

Oh no, the refs are gonna tilt the ice in the Pens favour....too much female doging on their end. |

It is unfair to all of these D-men that Andrew Ference is "plugging" a roster spot. Reinhart's travel should consist of an elevator ride to the pressbox and not a cab ride to the airport. All of these NMCs are really handcuffing a lot of teams. |
