The funny thing about the Rangers waiving Stoll, is I bet that is the exact type of player they will now give up assets for at the trade deadline....bet on it lol

THANK God its game day cause we need a game bad here, NEED a win badly more like it.
No problem w the Stoll move, he probably goes unclaimed anyway & plays in Hartford. As for G, we all know he's a warrior & has been incredibly lucky (along w being tough obviously) to sustain anything but minor injuries in season. He has been off his A game for some time now so taking a breather & watching might not be the worst thing anyway.

Yup, that's why I wrote in the blog: "Plus, Stoll is the kind of player and depth you like having later in the season heading into the playoffs."

I found it interesting that AV said after practice yesterday that the player called up would have been Diaz if he wasn't hurt. Trying to save face with him so he doesn't bolt for Europe? Usually he wouldn't reveal that stuff until any move was official.
let me say it...nice post Jan... strong review overall ,I myself think the swollen knee is a helper to explain for the clueless play he showed ,just off! missed so many play adjustments or slow to move..anyway its just a spell ...good cover....
I personally want to see the D unit stay together ..... with Macrath coming on it gives us a top 7 to play in.... unless a deal falls in there lap dont see them touching any D members ...
Mac to right side is a solid move ...he needs help too ... not all g man ?
a rotation of sorts is whats to come out of this if we convince our D ubit it will help in the P O's when u feel stronger & healthier... u get no cups to win reg. season.
we did that & how many injured guys did we have ...attrition or worn done to a nub....I see a rejuvenation after said lost road trip..... L G R ride the waves .....
Stoll played like stool ... lets team know of accountability....
Hayes -Fast-Miller -Kreids ..better wake up or take a seat in the press box....
i wanna see the ass busting type play they should bring ..... way too cruisy on ice...bang bang bang ..hayes especially .... start w/ his game and sit or be counted ...L G R

As much as people might not want to admit it, Stoll was basically Moore without the offense. Glass, the Rangers don't have another forward like him. Makes perfect sense when you look at it like that.

I don't know how it happened but it seems Glass is back & to stay. Not sweating it, again I like a little toughness in there just in case. I know McIlrath fights but I don't like D men dropping the mitts too often.

A guy that skates weird, can't score and sits in the penalty box a lot...I don't know I think they have a lot of those guys

Exactly, Don't mind him doing it once in a blue moon, but if its that dumb (frank)ing instigator, the Rangers are down to 5 defenseman for a period.

automatic 17 minutes, yep, it's always been a stupid rule, it deters nothing.

Either give Etem a chance to play or put him on waivers and admit the trade didn't work out. Hell, just chalk it up to prior management and move on. At worst he goes to Hartford and plays. Either way the hit is off the books.
Glass? He's our version of Gazdic. The ability to make and take a pass Donald Trumps any preconceived notion of toughness. Glass is a bottom 1%er. Being at home doesn't afford an opportunity in regards to match ups for him, it simply puts him in a position to get his teeth kicked in possession wise as per AV sees fit. Maybe Gazdic and and Glass can share some ice time and allow people in the seats to think "I can do better than that!"
