Canucks have some decent prospects on D. I seen the other night about Neill picking up the 2 assists in the 4-0 win for the Pheonix . I was posting his stats after each game before but have not recently , seeing he is an older player. I think it still sits well but will wait until next year to see how he makes out on the Comets. He is worth keeping an eye on though.
Brisebois also is starting to rack up the points. I obviously don't get to watch a lot of games in the QMJHL but both players seem to coming along nicely. Brisebois's numbers have picked up nicely over the last month.

Canucks prospects finally look to have merit but we need to draft impact players somehow in the next 2-3 seasons. I know it's next to impossible to predict the impact any given draft pick will have but a true 1-2LC and a no 1 D would be nice. Does that mean skipping on the BPA at the next few drafts? Maybe. As much as I like McCann Horvat Sutter down the middle moving forward we may need another solid pick at Center. I am thinking for after the Sedins are gone.
I was looking at Chychrun the other day and was high on him at first but not sure now...
With Demko I think we are set. Markstrom will be good but he won't be the guy to get us back to the top 10 IMO. It's going to ned to be a 3-5 year drafting and developing process here... hopefully the hot dogs at the Rog will stand pat...
