Agreed, but you and I and Benning all know the impact of a Matthias or Richardson come playoffs... Zero. He would have been smart to get rid of them for something regardless as he clearly knew they were not resigning

In past years you could see each of those guys going for 1sts, but the tighter cap and lack of moves makes it harder to determine what the going rate will be this year. Only a few months ago KB3 was worth a second rounder after his worst season to date, these guys should get more but you never really know

It's true, there's not a lot of teams with space, so those few teams have leverage and don't want to take bad contracts. I like Weal out of that LA though, Calder winning playoff MVP in the AHL.

I think hamhuis gets a first, I would prefer a good d prospect drafted a couple years ago and ready to make the jump even if we have to add. Like to the Avs and toss in to get Bigras. Bowey from caps etc.

Only way burrows is moved this year is if we eat half his salary. Cant see anyone wanting him even for free with his cap hit.
