I think some here re going to be disappointed with the return from moving vets. Be happy with the cap space .

I think this thread overvalues our players tremendously. Vrbata I would say is very much a second, but at this point in the season, and with Hammer's age, is he really worth more than Bieksa? Better question is, can you convince any of GM otherwise? The answer is probably no. I think we are all holding our breathe for Benning to sell all of these diminishing players but I think if you do, you will be highly disappointed. I am very much on board with the want to trade all of our aging players, but what makes anyone think that other teams are taking notes and wanting them? Lets try and be realistic here... For Once.....

When we draft Matthews the Canucks will not allow the Province to interview him, in fact ban all Province employees from the dressing, room even better Rogers arena.

Yeah . I don't see Hamhuis or Vrbata bringing back more that a couple of seconds. That may not be a bad thing . If you were lucky enough to trade for a high second plus Canucks high second maybe you could trade up.
