Devils used to be such a cool team back in the days of Niedermayer, Holik, Mogilny, etc

They have sunk to Leafs levels of boring Zacha is an exciting prospect for sure though!

This Farnham kid is a huge surprise, kinda came out of nowhere. Hard to believe the goal scoring continues but we'll see!!

Is farnham just a poor mans burrows? 2 diving penalties in last 2 months and now maybe a fine/suspension for the hit last night?

He is an out of control Clarkson. I don't get it I mean he can excite you and plays the way you want but he also does poop that is just uncalled for. I think he is most effective when he is running wild but not throwing checks as he is quick and disturbs the oppositions defence with pressure just like gionta does but gionta doesn't play very physical. I have missed quite a few games lately but after watching the hit he made last night I don't know, that was a hit you do to the computer in between the whistles on nhl 16 or something lol not something you should do in real life just completely un called for and I am usually ok with players most people think are douches lol.

Look at our roster though what do you want us to do? outside of tootoo we have 0 muscle at all and we have to have players to protect our young d and our star goalie if we can't keep those guys safe we won't turn anything around. We can't just get better players without creating holes elsewhere we need to sit with what we have and wait it out till the rest of the team rounds itself out but we arguably have 5 ahl players as regulars

We won't win many games this year because we where the more talented team lol we are going to win by oour goalies stealing wins or our defence chipping in offensively or if it comes down to it just straight up getting under the skin of other teams and getting them off their game lol If we played into the games of teams with way more talent then us we are going to lose lots and lots of games and it's well known that we don't just tank we fight it out till the end we aren't the oilers ! ( No offense ) lol

What did you guys think of the sting landing Koneckny ? (frank) they are going to be a good team with Zacha and chychrun and jacobs and mistele. Not sure the qualty of their tenders but thats a big add to an ohl team as he had to of been the best player on the 67 if that's where he came from lol like I said im in between places and havent been able to keep up and I know this isn't exactly devils related :p

League needs to stop allowing players to turn into a dangerous position on the boards, then rewarding them with a power play, the severson boarding penalty was a joke, that turned the game completely around.

we should've called up Helgeson instead of Gragnani

Mike Weber will probably be available by the sabres he could be an answer to toughing up the back end and team in general and I would rather watch him push guys out of the crease then watch gelly waste away in the pressbox hell might even take a lot less then gelly to get him but then maybe we can flip him to another team or merril since it seems we are never going to address our offensive woes until we pick a forward again at the draft in the first round lol

(frank) read my next post didn't even think of helgeson but I agree we need some balls back there its just to easy to gain access into our offensive zone and people getting second and third whacks at our goalies all we can do is turn our heads away and hope they feel bad for us and stop being mean hahaha

Farnham is everything hockey needs to be. Wild, Exciting, entertaining, hard hitting, goal scoring hockey demon..
As for the diving, the second diving fine was B.S. Id like to see how you act when you get a cramp or Charlie horse.

He needs to keep up that energy but he needs to keep it in a smaller bottle you can not hit a guy like he did last night im surpized hynes himself said he didn't think that was suspension worthy if you interfere with someone like that your intent is to hurt its not like they locked eyes and mutually agreed to blow each other up he just made a stupid decision. He has to be more in control but with that said he has proven to be effective for us in many way but you can't expect him to keep scoring at 30% of his shots that will drop eventually and then he will really need to keep his game in check lol

It was announced during the 3rd period that the Flyers would be sending Provorov to the Devils for Farnham and a 2017 2nd round pick.

I really don't understand how Gragnani is getting better PP opportunities than Severson.
