Pretty much yes, synthetics or plastics are all made from oil. Your tooth brush, tv, tv remote, iPad, note pad, computer, clothes, etc.

I'm passionate about it, I'd love to educate on what oil provides as well as its disadvantages. People who assume it just makes fuel need to educate themselves, 6000 items are made from oil, most have no idea.

A lot of fishing lures are made out of butyrate a wood cellulose based plastic.

I wish. The ol' jazz bong just got wrapped in newspaper and put in storage. Apparently I'm going to try out fatherhood unmedicated first. I can't remember the last time I partook. I did however just consume a bottle of delicious Cab franc that made me pretty happy.

Get the plans from Doc Brown for Mr. Fusion and we can recycle our garbage to power our cars... remember 2015 just passed so we SHOULD be able to have Mr. Fusion at least.
