The longer the Sedin's continue to excel and remain criticized by other fan bases, it becomes beyond ridiculous.

Both in the top 100 points all time.
Scoring leaders on their team.
Stand up community members.
Super tough, take tons of abuse and are hardly ever injured.
Loyal, team guys.

I mean, if these guys were Canadian they'd be hero's.
I think the way they handle themselves is note worthy.
Stand up guys.

respect.

I'm not a Sedin fan, but you can't argue about this.

Eric Staal is a "good ol Canadian boy", with two career fights. One against Jeff Halpern in 2005/06 and one against Dion Phaneuf in 2014/15. Not only did he not "win" either, he never even got a punch in against Halpern.

I've never heard anyone call Staal a princess...

Also the whole "Soft Swedish" reputation thing is BS and has always been. I remember when Borje Salming had his entire face sliced open by a skate and was playing again not long after. That guy was beaten for years and just kept playing. Forsberg and Sundin were rocks. Forsberg lost his spleen and came back shortly after. One foot was badly damaged towards the end of his career and he kept trying to play. Plenty of Canadians wouldn't be able to handle that.

The Preds are on a four-game losing streak and even though the talk is about how they can't score, their real problem is defense: they've dropped to 21st overall in goals against.

the solution is Higgins as a solid defensive forward and PK guy... just saying...

After looking at top 100 pt list, a few things jump out.

Who the F is Neal Broten?
#98 all time, American Forward from the 1980's? Never heard of him.

Also. Ray Ferraro had a much better career than i would have guessed. #106 all time currently.

Jagr is immortal.

1980 Miracle on Ice….you know, when the Americans beat the mighty Soviets. Fantastic little center for the North Stars.

He was a solid player for the North Stars, a team that went and got spanked by Lemieux & co in the finals...

I don't understand Willie mixing the lines up again when they just beat a really good team, why mess with that?

On that note, we always mix up the lines in rec hockey, and rarely lose? LOL…maybe Desjardins is smarter than me haha. Gary Bromley tripped me this morning in the corner, I fell on my left hip and now I'm limping, that wiener, I've gotta start a new job on Monday

#tradevalue.

Top 100 scorer Sedin twins that everyone thought was weak and soft, is now talked about as very durable, ambassadors, standup guys, Skilled, grit and still performing. I think their trade value just added another 1st...but too bad we are in a market where it is more about the name on the back and not the crest on the front. I might be in the minority here, but we fans are very fickle. Right now everyone is talking about how great the Sedins are and any mention of trading them will get you chastised. My take is their trade value will never be higher. Trade them now and get a boatload and get them back after their contract expires for 1 year at 2-3 per to play on the 3rd or 4th line. #dreams

I am not sure if anyone here noticed it or not...the bruhahah apparently started because of Thorton's comments, but as soon the melee started he was nowhere to be seen. I watched the replays a few times and could not pick out Thorton in any of the replays.

I know that is how he is, but to run into the dressing room and not come out when your entire team is on the ice is some next level chicken poop.
