They played very well when paired together early in the season, not that it matters much to Bylsma with how often he changes things.

I also remember Murray's comment when Pysyk was not put back into the lineup due to the coach not wanting to change things because the team won the prior night.

Yes, I believe he is. He's also played 13 games in which he had 20+ minutes

He's also been trusted to play in all situations against decent competition, and Pysyk has primarily played a 3rd pairing role against easy competiton

He's nowhere near the pace of those two... He has double the goals of Gionta has in 7 less games and 9 less games and 6 more goals than Moulson. You can't sit here and complain about a guy who has been one of the top offensive players for this team the last few weeks when we've lost because half the team is defensive minded grinders..

I was thinking ROR was a money whore but holy poop he backs it up with his play what about Kane ? You can find a player that produces More then him at 800m- 2m

I don't dislike Pysyk in the slightest. I want to see more of him. I just think it's kind of obvious Bylsma isn't a huge fan.

Yeah, we were just talking about him the other day. the guy who tried to say he's not sure if Brett Favre is a HOFer (Schopp) doesn't really help him out much.

They need to resign McGinn cut loose Moulson ad Gionta. I also expect Ennis to be traded by the draft.

I really think Kane could be trouble. As in where to play him. I'm willing to give him some more time with ROR to see how the jell, but Kane and Eichel don't at all. Exhibit A is Eichel going 14? games before his first assist. Kane's way too good to be on the third line. Unless you put Eichel on ROR's right side with Girgensons on the left or something which I'm not a fan of. And then you could have Kane Reinhart McGinn as your second line. This is assuming Ennis is gone, or has totally lost his confidence for some reason and is playing on the third line, or you could switch Ennis and McGinn given who's playing better. These are all longer term things I'm talking about. Like where do you see the lines near the end of the season? If we get a top five pick. I'd say likely that guy will probably be top 6 too. Isn't Pulululularvi a right shot right wing? Or am I thinking Laine? Either way. We really need a right shot right winger very bad. I'd say as much as we need another top 4 LHD.

Unless they're just trying to ease him back in. When he was finally activated from Rochester Bylsma was saying "If you look at the stats we're a better team with him in there." and then said something along the lines of yeah, he wanted him to play. That seems like a bit more than a half-hearted "yeah, we like the kid, he's a good kid." kind of statement you hear a lot.

Murray, obviously, didn't commit too much to him, but said he liked him and also brought up the possession stats too.

It's definitely an odd situation. Unless they're thinking about a package deal with Ennis, and a pick or 2 for a legit top pairing LHD.

I think for this team, the smarter play would be to trade it for as much as one can get...could the winning team obtain say:
2016 1st
2017 1st
"A" prospect

But I only do that deal with a bottom 3 or 4 team to ensure you get one of the Finn wingers or the Top D (can't spell his name)

No way you get that much for a team to move up 2-3 picks. Sorry

You would be good to get just another 1st, but if the team is at the bottom (and expects to be in 2016, next year) the 1st would be lottery protected which defeats the purpose. Highly doubt a team in top 5 would trade much to move up, knowing they get a great player still.

I like your last line of reasoning as it could be the strongest point...is there that much of a difference in the top 3 or 4 forwards, including Tchuck(sp is not my forte)...effectively de-valuing the 1st pick.i also,agree I wouldn't pay that much were I a GM...but thought I'd throw it out there to validate.
