WOW! that's a pretty poopty bridge deal, I guess Tallon isn't a very good negotiator either, and last year of the deal is 7.75 mil

Cap hit is still 5.9 only

But his next contract will be based on his last salary 7.75mil, and 5.9 is not great for what should of been a bridge deal.

But if he makes it unsigned until July 1st you know someone is going to offer him 6 years and $39M so it's a good signing by Tallon.

In 3 years it will look like quite the bargain the guy is unreal and just gettting started. Salary cap will keep going up and 5.9 will be big value. Nice contract, much better option than bridge IMO tallon did very well here.

We'll see where the cap goes when the Can $ hits 50 cents.

Your confused. UFA salary has nothing to do with previous salary. That is only if he is RFA that they have to raise based off of last year salary. they can offer a UFA what ever they want, they could even offer 1mil if they wanted to.

Your insistence on sending the sedins to miami is borderline treacherous. I like Gudbranson too but the Sedins have earned the right to dictate when where and how they leave.

Seeing as how that has never happened in the history of our currency, despite it dropping much lower than it is right now, I don't think that this is a consideration worth having if you're a GM

i would love the move if it meant we had Gunbrandson and a 1st, I don't see why Florida takes on the Sedins though nor messes with their d-chemistry right now.

Edit: they are one of the teams I would think might take a stab at Vrbata though, makes sense that they could afford the price/salary

Yeah I didn't realize the contract takes him thru to UFA at 26 years old.

I'm sure there are some GoT fans on here so I'm just going to throw my excitement out there, how about Ian McShane joining the cast for Season 6

right on!
They are introducing a wide array of "new" characters to the show.

Euro Greyjoy is finally making his appearance. For those who haven't read the books, this guy is going to make all ur most hated characters seem childish in comparison.
