I've seen about 30 of their games. I personally think he's got very similar speed. The thing I think is missing from his point totals is Pavel's slowed down. I truly hope we don't resign him, certainly not for over 1.25 mil.

There are many younger players that could definitely fill his roll for that or less. AA is a guy I think should get a shot next year to replace Helm. Babs loved him but idk if Blash has the same blind love for Helm. Its pretty telling how fast they locked up Abby but seemed to let Helm try and prove himself...to which he has not succeeded. Even a guy like Grabner from the leafs is pretty similar and much cheaper

holland will give him 6 years at 2.5, just random numbers no thought went into this

Helm can go. Replaced by AA. Helm is fast? ok. big deal. its not like hes a pest or consistent goal scorer. ive seen AA throw bigger hits then Helm. AA is younger and will be cheaper. Helm can go. id rather see them put $ into the defense.
