I liked Chris Therien. Although it may have not have been an ideal situation for him, he was on the top pair with Eric Desjardins dating back to my earliest memories as a Flyers fan.

Jagr's worst nightmare.

Bundy looks like he's wasting away in front of our eyes. him and coatsey need to switch back

He's a pretty bad interviewer. He mangles three or four different thoughts and into something that's not quite a question, and the the poor guy being interviewed has to try and answer it.

At least Coatsey Rose had the excuse of being sauced and having hot dog-whiskey breath.

I think that is a better description of Jeremy Roenick...but yeah they stutter makes it pretty tough to maintain interest in what he is saying when the position he is in is meant to just make a quick point. he appears to be less drunk than coatsey on a nightly basis though

I don't think it's a coincidence that as soon as Couturier was fit, Umberger got benched. I think Hakstol didn't want to replace two of our biggest players with two smaller guys like Gagner and Weal.
- Feanor

I think there is definitely something to Hakstol not wanting both Gagner and Weal in the lineup at the same time.

A line of Raffl, Read and Laughton should be effective. My problem with Hakstol at the moment is, who is getting special treatment on the team and who might not be. Matt Read is playing leaps and bounds better this season than last season but isn't playing in a regular top 6 role. The season began with Brayden Schenn possibly being on the outside looking in but somehow this idea morphed into Matt Read wasting away in this line up. Is it because Laughton needs help elevating his game? I don't know.
- SuperSchennBros

I don't think there is any special treatment being given. Matt Read is 5th on the team in ice time per game among Flyer forwards.

I like Bundy, but I don't think those interviews add a blessed thing to the telecast.

Switching them was a mistake from day 1.

You miss "I'm looking right over his shoulder"?

By the way, Flyers goaltending is now apparently a position of vulnerability.

In a hypothetical trade, what would be the cost of Simmonds? Also, does he strictly play on the right side or can he play on the left as well?

Hawks' 1st rounder is more like a 2nd rounder anyways. 3rd a borderline 4th. Meh. And we already have your 2nd.

Hawks aren't a good match imo. I'd want a high first to start w/. Not the 30th pick or something.

Not looking to move Simmonds to begin with so if that was even something they'd consider it'd for me have to be a knock me off my chair type thing
