The point is to use an area of strength/depth to significantly improve an area of weakness

Jets could be an active team trade team, so many young assets. They could move Trouba for Hamonic and have a shot at draft Tkachuk this summer.

Move Trouba for a forward and draft Chychrun.

Move Ladd for other assets. If they dont do anything this summer they are fools, can't afford to sit still, they have so much prospect depth and good young talent, they can afford to mix it up a bit

It only makes sense because Hamonic is a right shot that we so desparately need. Our left side with Sekera, Nurse, Davidson, and Reinhart as a 7th dman is good enough when our right side looks like Shultz, Fayne, Gryba.

Sekera should be a 3. But Klefbom isn't good enough yet to unseat him as our best, not in my eyes anyway. It's a sideways move but I think shot side is a bigger deal than you do. I'm not a fan of getting rid of Klefbom in most cases, but this would be an exception for me. Next season I would like to see something like this
