I about blew a gasket on the penalty call on Giroux. There was a play at the other end where a Flyer (missed which one) got absolutely wrestled to the ice, no call.. but Giroux got the gate for his infraction.

Brandon Manning should never play for us unless someone gets hurt. The Flyers do everything right, including trading away another LWer in Patrick Maroon before seeing what he can do in the NHL.

You know, it's hard for me to be disappointed with the team not competing with tough competition when you have Mark Streit and Nick Schultz but our rookie coach sees Gudas, Del Zotto and Ghost as our solutions as top pair players.

I understand this vision of building a better team for tomorrow. I just don't believe in the on ice system. The Ducks are bigger and pushing us around.
