If all goes well with my fios install today, it will be my first televised game in the new house! Woot woot! Hope it's a win.

After the Rags game i went on a bit of a rant about our putrid shootout capability. After stewing on it for a few days, my opinion really has not changed; our best players have to be better at it. The league has been pushing for parity and looking at how tight the wild card is, yea if you suck at the shootout you're gonna be outside looking in. It sucks couturier is hurt but there's still things the healthy guys can do to help the team and pissing away points in the shootout is not helping. No, there isn't a shootout in the playoffs, Thank God! But you need to get in to worry about it. 5 points out of the playoffs with 9 otl's... Put 2 more wins in that column and we're in. It's not rocket science they need to get better and the elite guys need to be elite.

Going to game tonight ! Let's hope it's a good win

The shootout... Yes, that is exactly why I really wanted the Flyers to go after Oshie. He was available, seemed like the Caps got him for a good deal. Did Hextall try to get him, we may never know.

Do you think he is what he is? I know he's 33 or so, but does any of it attribute to adjusting to NA hockey and life? Or has this been his reputation before coming over?
