I Provorov was in this years draft class, where do you think he would be ranked or drafted? |

here's one for you
EDM gets the 2nd pick and Matthews goes first.
Would you trade Provorov and our first (say Flyers pick #10) for Laine? - Marc D
No. Provorov has too special a place in my heart right now. Anyone else and maybe yeah. But number ten wil be a great pick too. I just couldn't trade Provorov. He's gonna be my boy. I knows it. |

Are you saying as a first-time draft-eligible player (in other words, acting like this year never happened), or including what he's done this season?
As draft-eligible, probably 6/7 after Matthews, Laine, Puljujarvi, Chychrun, and Tkachuk. Taking this year into account, maybe top-3/4. |

as of right now this is the first time he is draft eligible.
if you want just go by what he did prior to last years draft that works as well. |

I would just be worried about trading back to acquire more picks, NHL isn't like the NFL where you can get potential starters in the 5th round. The Eagles should trade the #13 pick and get a few more picks. If it were a deeper draft and we could get two really good prospects in the late first, I'd consider it. I don't know much about the prospects but from what guys here have posted, it seems like there won't be much outside the top 10-15 picks.
I feel like they need to take BPA, then possibly trade him in the future, or try and trade up and get a stud in the first few picks. If Hexy can acquire a few more assets at the TDL, we should have enough stockpiled that it might be worth trading up, depending on how the lottery chips fall. - Tomfan365
That's why I stated great value. Trading the pick doesn't always mean losing the pick. It could be a roster player, high end prospect with a pick a couple spots lower. Taking another high end defensemen won't hurt the Flyers, especially since Provorov, Sanheim, Morin, etc are not guaranteed superstars. |

If Zac Rinaldo were going in this year's draft, where do y'all think he'd go? |

He would be rated higher than Chychrun. |

Chychrun is sinking though. He could be leapfrogged by players in this year's draft let alone Provy. |

he can't be any worse than our bottom 6 and once again it lets us deal someone also it's one less player another team can claim - 2Real
Just think about this:
They chose to waive Ehrhoff over Luke Schenn, even though a team claiming Schenn gives them more cap space to work with at the TDL this year. |

Juolevi has been climbing like crazy, but I still have Chychrun above him. |

Schenn has played well for them by all accounts. Ehrhoff hasn't. |

Provorov 5S is much better and more consistent than Chychrun. |
