Are the Oilers tanking? Chiarelli made some moves this summer to make the Oilers better ( not enough mind you, but Sekeras, Talbot, Letestu and Korpokopski were all upgrades in their respective positions) made a solid trade for Kassian, hired an excellent coach....

Clearly the still suck but would you say they have intentionally tanked the season?

The Oilers are not tanking and would be one of the best teams in the NHL if they hadn't been missing at least two star players in every game they played this season.

the Oilers have lost almost 240 games to injury. Unlike New Jersey and Buffalo however, almost all those games are to crazy good players.

Its not bad management that Nurse was in the minors for 10 games. It's bad management that he hasn't played more , as he has struggled horribly outside of a handful of games. But you knew that after analyzing his stats, no?

Well.....they haven't looked very good in a lot of games this year. They aren't as bad as the ' masses' think , nor are they as good as you would like them to believe. The truth is somewhere in the middle.

They still skate around like morons with no clue after a team scores a couple on them. I can't explain it but it's the same poop they've been doing for 6-7 years. They have a long way to go.

well this is kind of the same thing every time.
