The 1 game sample looks pretty brilliant for what it's worth.

Good thing he's going to be converted to a winger.

Granlund just put McCann on AHL watch.

Finishing in Utica when his junior team out will definitely be better for him right now. He and Virtanen kind of went polar opposites as the season went on... but the body types make this not so surprising.

Have to say, Jake could have came back from the WJC, lost his confidence, took criticisms personal and lost the coaches trust but he did the complete opposite. That really bumped up my expectations for him.

- boonerbuck

Agreed. I wasn't a fan of the pick, I wasn't a fan of him making the team and I wasn't surprised with his performance at the WJC. But I have been surprised with the way he's handled himself since. He's confident, he's driven and he seems to genuinely believe that he belongs in the NHL.

I am always eager to be proven wrong.

Minus-10: This was Linden Vey's shot attempt differential at even strength. Despite getting the "Granlund bump," the centre-turned-winger did not have a good game.

I believe that will replace "We are all Canucks" as their new slogan.

Hopefully he sits out or is already traded by the time the game against San Jose occurs on Sunday.

Can everyone please admit now that the Shink trade was a massive win so we can move on to the pending Bartowski haul on Monday?

With all the KIDS around n who knows what happens before the TDL Vey either rises his game or gets beaten out next season. Its the kinda competition we have never had here unless we go back to the Gradin Smyl Fraser era. Quite enjoyable times ahead n see what happens as the dust settles. Still there will be bumps on the road looking ahead but eh most can live with that if we see progress n hard work.

All this makes the TDL n draft very interesting n fun times.

The so called lateral move gave us options.
All considered Shink had no spot left to compete for.
JV Sven Dank McCann Etem all better wing options IMO
Once Sutter is back its even more competition for a change.

As for Barts who knows what team out there is lookin for depth D for the playoffs.
A 6/7/8 D man always is a good thing for deep runs.
Comes cheap but if Polak got a 2nd then lets hope lol.
Q is what team suits that want/need? Any?

After tonight we could pick anywhere from 6-10th.
There r interesting picks in that range.

Anyone like to list their picks from 6 thru 10 we would like?

My order is Servachev, Juolevi, McCleod or trade down a few spots.
Then maybe pick Fabbro n go from there.
Hard to predict til the TDL passes.

Still all good choices.
All fun to speculate at this time.

A skilled n good puck moving D man is best.
Skating is always a want in my books.
Q is how far down we dare drop or is it the BPA?

Ok article...6'2 190 pound two way center. Very good skater. I'm not sure how much of his production is due to playing with Nylander though. Sure they complement each other. Projected between 10-15 I think.
