Ya, after the Ladd deal i see Drouin's return as having skyrocketed. Top prospect, a first and a 3rd for a rental old bum.

Yzerman must be pretty stoked.

Ya i dunno, personally wouldn't be a fan of trading down as i see this draft as having a massive drop off in talent outside the top 10. If we wind up in that 7 to 10 range we got to take the BPA, preferably a D as he would constitute one of the best at his position in the entire class.

I tend to agree...but it all depends on what pick we obtain. Benning has been quoted as saying there is a solid top 15 and then it drops quickly. That's why I'm not to worried about where we pick. The top 7 seem to be fairly set while the next 8 picks are anybody's guess. The difference from 8-15 is probably minimal. Let the kids win a couple games!

Sekac was a beast in MTL and I believe he was only shipped our cause they have a terrible Coach.

This seems what JB might do n show his true worth at drafting.

True, but in my opinion i got to say, if we end up taking yet another "versatile two-way center" i'm going to be pretty disappointed, as the 8 to 15 range is going to be littered with those.
