Do you think it'll be hard to convince him to give up magic for hockey? |

I'm open to any trade that does not include Giroux, Voracek, Simmonds, Schenn, Couturier, Gostisbehere and Mason (Provorov, Sanheim, Morin, Stolarz and Konecny all stay without saying). I don't care about what you can get for any of these guys. In my opinion, these names are our core, our future and we can win if we build around these players.
It's an exciting time because what deals Hextall makes will only add to our future. I'm hoping for high picks and prospects. |

So let me guess. The ref did nothing to piss off this young player, the kid faught with himself and everyone involved feel justified by including the police. I'm sorry but the refs are gonna have to start living with the fact the players may not always respect them and turn the other cheek when things happen in the heat of the moment. I'm all for kicking the kid out of the game...but an arrest?? |

He was 21. Didn't get charged. But yeah maybe a bit much. It was pretty silly to cuff him in his gear lol |

Per GM Ron Hextall, the #Flyers have signed RW Colin McDonald to a multi-year contract extension → http://bit.ly/1QOYspQ - PLindbergh31

I'm pretty sure that this is more geared towards the Phantoms. He's a good mentor to the kids down there and nice depth player to have in case of injury.

I have long since acknowledged I thought it would be better than it was, but yikes -- the GM made the deal and Columbus hasn't made the playoffs, just like the Flyers haven't
The Flyers lost the trade. But it's not like Columbus is all that thrilled with where they are - AllInForFlyers
and of course the return is going to be substantially better w/ less years of his overpriced contract to swallow for the team that wants him.....everyone feel free to ignore that fact and pillory hextall and everyone who supported the move |

If this is about the Umberger/Hartnell deal, there is no rationalizing to it. It was a bad deal. Hartnell isn't carry a team but he's still a pretty productive player. I think if he still had him, he would absolutely be a difference maker in getting into the playoffs. He's a character guy, a leader and I feel this team needs both of these characteristics. Columbus is in the boat that they are because they suck. Trading a center piece like Ryan Johansson wasn't gonna solve their problems. |

Yandle Staying a Ranger.
According to multiple sources, the Rangers have informed Keith Yandle he will not be moved, however I am told that statement included a "but" things might change should the perfect deal occur.

So they aren't going to move him, but they might move him. Great (frank)ing post |

I think Streit gets moved. There is interest. If they could retain salary it might have already happened. May involve taking a contract back, not sure.
Dallas waiting on Hamhuis, but if that falls through? |

Last night, I was watching NHL network and I saw on the crawl " Flyers extend MacDonald'. I freaked out. Can bullet holes on a TV be repaired?
