Thanks Bill.
The line of Bellemare centering White and Vandevelde remaining intact is one of the more interesting stories of this season I think.
Ghost's emergence is obviously #1. Neuvirth is second. Trading Lacavalier and Schenn I'd put third. Somewhere in there would be the job Hakstol has done with the team over achieving.
If they rally and make the post season that would be a big story
Exciting to hear about Sanheim and Provorov. |

Tuesday's game is huge.
Kronwall is out.
Hope the Flyers come out ready to play. |

I don't believe Sam Gagner has ever made the playoffs as an NHLer. I know for certain not during his time in Edmonton. It would be so nice to have him be a piece that helps get us in this year. |

I'd have institutionalized you if you told me the Leafs would score one goal on the road against the Wings and WIN |

Laughton may not be putting up monster numbers, but Chris Van deVelde has 2 assists and is a -3 over the last 10 games, and is 2/10/12/-6 for the year. I know he's a "hard worker" and all, and I know that Hak has a bias (which every coach does). That said, the Laughton line has been a forechecking machine the last 2 weeks, and I'd hate to bump a player from that line out so that the guy who couldn't make a putrid Edmonton roster can play his "hard working" game. |

I'm still scratching Gagner if I were hak. I like that 3rd line the way it is and id put Raffl with coots and Schenn again. That line was nearly unstoppable. Jake is just a better fit replacing gagner. |

Kind of unorthodox but I'd put raffl up on the top line with Jake and G while putting Simmer on the 4th line to get him going |

I am enticed by the future defense...since the shootouts are not working I would go VDV, Manning and Schultz as my first 3 shooters and have Neuvy as the shootout goalie even when Mason is the starter |

Datsyuk is listed as day to day with an upper body injury. I know he came back in the game but it will be interesting to see if is playing . I'm sure with what's at stake, if he's breathing, he's playing.
Side note : I got tickets for this game because Datsyuk is one of my all time favorite non Flyers and I was thinking I'd be watching a Flyers team with nothing to play for. Sure I'll be on the edge of my seat all game.
I'm 3-0-1 in my last 4 attended Flyer games. |

I will never ever count a team with Pavel Datsyuk out. He alone gives his team a chance to win every game he plays. One of my favorites also. |

According to the Red wings blog, Mike Babcock is cheering for Detroit. How can you coach one team and cheer for another? Mike Babcock is Mike Babcock's favorite cheerleader. |

Funny, since the team he coaches just beat Detroit. If he were cheering for them, wouldn't he have forfeited the game? |

Mike Commodore is constantly chirping Mike Babcock on his twitter account.
I don't know whether to be entertained by it or somehow worried that Commodore is becoming slowly unhinged. |

Mike Babcock sent John Scott a message supporting him. #Shocker. That arrogant piece of poop trolling for a headline. Playing the media

Dear Mike Babcock...The game is great, the nets are fine. You think you are bigger than the game, but you aren't. Shut up. Period.

2 things I know. The Wings are winning this game...and the Biggest piece of poop on the Planet is Mike Babcock.
I found the first one especially interesting, as the irony is so, so sweet. |

Yeah, I don't get it. Will he be saying the same thing in a few years when the Leafs are good and Detroit is a bitter division rival? |

Speaking of former players calling out coaches on Twitter, Zenon Konopka had a Tweet a few weeks back calling for Mike Yeo to be fired with a picture of his rabbit holding a sign. |

I'm just gonna go with the statement being overblown. It's like Bill Cowher being a fan of Carolina, but that doesn't mean he didn't want to beat them when he was the Steelers' coach. Most NHLers were a fan of a certain team growing up, but it doesn't mean they want the team they play for to lose to them. |
