Maybe. Depends if you want to cheer for a prospect coming up onto the stage or if you trade that pick to improve the team and people understand nobody is coming up on stage to put on the sweater.

The draft being in Buffalo should in no way be more important to improving the team.

Pittsburgh did it with Staal and the Devils did it with Schneider. Seems to create more excitement and the right player would certainly make us a better team.

I don't doubt your source 89, but I just don't see us allocating our resources to Yandle. I think there will be a ton of teams in in him, he'll get overpaid, and probably has little or.no.interest in BUF. I think we spend our $$ on forwards and draft one of the big 3 LHDmen. Maybe trade for a dman too?

I read a projected lineup on the Leafs thread today that had Stamkos, Matthews, and Shattenkirk.

A Buffalo fan said "fantasy" and a Leaf fan responded that Stamkos was already a done deal, that he was mad because Toronto has already finished last and already won the draft lotto, and that is almost certain Kadri is going to St. Louis in the trade.

The one thing that scares me about Nash and Yandle, is that I have read the Rangers thread and they all hate both of them.

I do think he's overrated but will still get a ton of money. Didnt Sekera get like 25/5 last year? Yandle will get 6.5 or 7 per
