I don't mind him playing there for now, there's only 12 games left. I don't see his future being there but who better do we have to play that role right now?

They should of kept 9-15-23 together and put Moulson with ROR to try and get him going and gain some confidence.

Feels a lot like regehr 2.0 acquiring a guy a few years too late just cuz of his name.

IMO he could be our version of Marian Hossa. A big 2 way forward that wont need to be "the guy" anymore.

I like this move by coach

Can't say Girgs wasn't given an opportunity to prove is worth.....and I think he will.

It would be real nice to basically know which lines work to start next season, that way we're not spending half the year to figure it out.

He's only forward if there's 6 guys, tops.

Certainly possible, for the right price is take that risk but I don't know if Rangers will let him go cheap especially if they have to retain salary.

Supporting your Nash point from the last blog..
IF you dont get stammer the perks of nash:
-Can get very cheap if you take his full salary ( which we can handle)
-deal ends in 2 years...when jack and sam need deals
-200 foot game and a vet without issues

Yup. Always liked his game.

He could probably fit in well here and pot 22-28 goals for a few years

I really like the idea of nash here, at 5m it wouldnt be so bad and if it doesnt work out he is off the books in time.

If he could come here and play a big game and score 20-25 goals i think its exactly what this team needs up front. Infuse a healthy ennis and one more player with speed in the top 9 and it would be looking good. With or without stamkos.

At least, worst case he leaves after 2 years (who cares lol).
best, he likes it and takes a team friendly deal to finish his career

I wouldn't mind Nash....but I don't think i could bear all the complaining from the fans. He's very similar to Vanek, will have an outburst of production, then a dry spell.....with this whole season being a bit of a dry spell.

I for one liked Vanek, but the incessant complaining from others was ridiculous.

You can argue 28 belongs in the top 6 or not, blah blah blah all day, but imo it is a big mistake to give up on a 22 year old 1st round pick who plays physical and has had some success in the league.

I take Nash only if he's cheap to acquire. It wouldn't be my ideal player at his age but he's still not bad.

Also, odds on Kasdorf seeing an NHL game this year? If Murray wants to tank still, this would be the best way to do it

I would send him a girl for that job. Being 2016 now, you can never be 100%.

Ottawa came close to acquiring him before he went to NYR. TM may still be a fan.
