Seriously. WTF?? Imagine if they didn't have stolarz all year?
They have some players that have played quite a few games in the NHL over the years. But yea. Playing out the string and a lot probably won't be returning - Just5
bet the phantoms wouldn't have lost to the blue jackets

i left my office and they were up with just a few minutes left. I had to get Riley. I almost drove off the side of the road when they tied it up. Fortunately, I thought better of it. It's just a (model) game. - wilsonecho91
of course i watched the game alone - and just as everyone came in the house, it all fell apart. it's not like the old days where i could break goalie sticks against a tree when i'm mad. i have people watching me now. it sucks.

yea the blues had a goalie that can make clutch saves - 2Real
yeah, i know. our goalie is such a loser that he can't stop over the crossbar high deflections and rebounds off deflections with 3 opposition players in front of him with no support. what a (frank)ing bum.

I'm amazed that veterans like Aaron Palushaj, Davis Drewiske, and Tim Brent couldn't get them into the playoffs.
one thing i am interested in but not enough to look up myself is how many games lost to injury the phantoms had compared to other teams...seems like they couldnt catch a break
And the beat went on at UND even after Hak left. They are Frozen Four tourney bound. - dragonoffrost
Crazy...Union College went from 32-6-4 and a national championship in 2013/14, then 19-18-2 the following year, and 13-14-9 this year. I guess they made some crazy horrible coaching move over the past 2 seasons, because coaches are the only thing that affect's a team's record.
Wait, they've had the same coach for 5 seasons??? How can this be?

Just saying people who thought why hire a guy from UND when Hak was hired can look at the fact that the coaching change hasn't crushed them and realize they are one of the powers of collegiate hockey. The brackets start this weekend and UND is number 3 overall seed. They are going through the Cincinnati regional which they did 2 years ago when I was in Cincy for Reds opening day. That was a crazy weekend with the Hockey Regionals then Monday being opening day for the Reds. UND fans were all over near the ballpark when I went to get my tickets for games 2 and 3 of the Reds opening series.
