Knocking LA outta 1st...how sweet
Bruins outside lookin in atm...sweet again
Hawks playing like crap...beautiful...cannot count them out though.
Is it the Caps year?
How about a FLA/Minny finals for crap tv ratings? 😂😂 - Nighthawk
I'd have no issues with OV matching crosby's cup total this season. though I'd also like to see LA get another cup just so this whole hawks "dynasty" talk dies away since LA would have 3 cups in 5 years and better claim to such a title versus the wholely inadequate for dynasty talk, 3 in 6 for the hawks |

I'd think Seabrook is their key D man more than Keith.
As for Kopitar he is quite the all around power C for sure.
Smart & strong & a 200' player...a winner in every way. - Nighthawk
Keith has more skill and does more, although Seabrook is probably less risky and more steady, but that doesn't win you championships by generating offense from the backend. |

As I recall, i'd said the Canucks are poised to go on a run... this at the 10 game mark. a few games on the other side of that but still, they could literally have a 6 game win streak to end the season and finish ahead of buffalo, and maybe a couple of other teams to falll to the 8/9 pick.. |

again. You guys do not deserve a top 5 overall pick with your roster. There is no excuse other than a goalie. The other teams (to some degree) deserve to be in the bottom of the league. You guys have no excuse lol |

un-f**king-believable. At the worst possible time. Now we are looking at drafting another 5-6 D when a franchise top 3 pick is so attainable. Come on JB...make it happen.

Dale's a solid 3rd line player... in Mtl and in Chicago... he could have played that role here as well. AV that idiot didn't have to try and make him a plugger...
even if you discount his time in Mtl, Chicago has him in that same role, so the naysayers and "hockey experts" here who were/ are down on the guy, should give their heads a shake... - kaptaan

Agreed.
I think Toes is way overrated. i only wish nux fans would chant 'twinkle toes' when he comes to town. Now that would be classic.
I'll give, Kane, Hossa, Keith, Hjalmarrson credit. those guys are all really good players. top line, top pair type players. Toes not as much as every1 else seems to think. He's good, but not to the hype he gets.
If LA wins the cup this season you'd have to say Kopi is the best Selke caliber center in the league... - kaptaan
Wow...speaking of shaking your head Kap you and the OldTimer better lay off the Snickers.
3 cups
NCAA Regional MVP
Calder Nominee
5X NHL allstar first ballot
Voted best forward players and press 2010 Olympics
2010 Conn Smythe
Youngest EVER to triple gold club
Named team Captain by peers after 64 NHL games
Selke winner
2014 Olympic Gold
Clutch goals in all playoffs (the Hawks don't win one cup let alone three without that) and leadership
Yeah I can see the overrating there but hey Weise is a solid third liner right?
Just wow dude... |

yes...Weise is.
12 games with a deep CHI team and no goals. Career 4th liner (probably get a cup being carried by Toews though)

He may not be the best scorer, or points ppg, but overall, he is definitely in the elite class. Does a lot more than put up points. |

Weise is a garbage player who has done sweet f*ck all for Chicago and will most likely end up being a healthy scratch through most of the playoffs before his NHL career fizzles into the annuals of insignificance. |

accurate write up too...
"You'll flip over this Steven Kampfer hit.
The Florida Panthers' depth defenseman sent his counterpart Frank Corrado cartwheeling with a gorgeous hip check from just inside the blue line on Monday night." |
