Jake came out on Twitter and said " I have to chose my timing better for the hit" he recognized it was a late hit.

He is talking about Hanks comments. That is a different issue. I heard Don Taylor say the other week the Sedins are not all sugar and sweet. There has been a few cases where eyes have been raised with them ( Vrbata) and Lefty read something the other week the Sedins not being amused by JM and JV ethics.

Not pointing fingers but there seems to be a little more to this than just one comment.

I think it was summed up well that having so many people comments/talk/mentor you with slightly varied responses has got to be overwhelming and caused him to maybe say something he should've let go. There is a ton of pressure on him, being the local first rounder, that over the course of a long year he's starting to feel it a bit. Youre right that Hank's comments were nothing, he didnt throw Jake under the bus or rat him out to the league, he'll learn that his teammates support him when it counts

But what back is there to get? Henrik only said it was a late hit and Jake needs to be smarter about it. The twins used to get abused and still kept their cool getting powerplays to help the team win, JV got his stick knocked out of his hands and retaliated, it hurts the team's chances to win and he cant do that

I don't think what Henrik or WillyD said about the hit was a shot at the rookie, I think they just acknowledge that it was late, and that the kid will learn from it. Miller calls out Kaleta for being a baby about not playing after he was suspended for hitting Brad Richards from behind and no one even talked about it. The reason this is even brought up is because Jake made this whole thing into a bigger deal than it is.

The Sedins have been on a winning team for number of years now. I can't imagine on a losing team as they have been this year that everybody is going to get along great. The Sedins have built a mentality of what it takes to win and i'm sure that isn't the same for 19 year olds who were used to winning in the CHL, to making the NHL and just savouring the moment of being here. The squabbling comes down to the coach and GM to sort things out if you ask me. They are there to put the team inline.
