it's odd that the one for me is seeing Jumbo spinning like a capsized turtle on the Kings center ice emblem after eliminating my team... It has made every beating the Kings have given the Sharks so much more pleasurable! |

Favorite Playoff Moment in San Jose Sharks History?
Come on! It's gotta be the only time the Ducks and Sharks met in the postseason. Remember the #1 seeded Sharks and the #8 seeded Ducks matching up? Getzlaf and Jumbo went at it at the start of game 6. The Ducks ended the series right there on their home ice that night. I remember. I was there with three of my children. We were passing out flyers of a Shark choking on a stick.
Let's meet again this year, mostly because that would likely mean the Kings are eliminated, since the Ducks are the only team that seems to want to win this division this year. See, there is common ground.

The series in 2011 against the Red Wings was one of my favorites.
Every game was intense and we could have gone down 3 games to 0 just as easily as we went up 3 games to 0.
Detroit fought back to force a Game 7 at the tank...
The first goal of the game was huge for both teams all series and Joe Thornton sent an absolutely wicked one time pass to Seto on his strong side to take the lead. I probably cheered louder at that goal than any other goal ever.
The most jaw dropping moment to me in Sharks playoff history was Nabby's save on Brad Richards in the semi-finals in 2008 I think it was. |
