Signing Stecher and Caguilla would be like obtaining a free first round pick.

Neither of those college kids excite me given their age and production in college, that said, they'd be free players for the Comets next year.

Higgins Weber Vrbata Hamhuis Burrows 28 goals 18 mil. Not a lot of bang for your buck. I am sure it will be fairly easy to replace that productivity.

I too hope the Canucks kick the Oilers ass's tonight and go out with their heads held high! Draft pick be damned, it's all about luck anyways.

I want them to win only if CBJ go into OT to get 1 point. This game has more value as a loss than a win at this point.

lets see whoever replaces them, surpass their production.

I can't see Burrows having a little video tribute with a year remaining on his contract. and wouldn't really be upset to see him back next season.

as for defense, unless Pedan gets moved in the summer, JB has to make sure he isn't lost to waivers, and Larssen too.

I like McCann, but wouldn't be against seeing him moved for the right return.

Caguilla is a shifty player. He looks to be somewhat like Cliff Ronning

If he ever reached his ceiling he might go as high as Hunter Shinkaruk

Surprised to hear mention of a tribute to Burrows, as i've not officially heard that he will be bought out.
Although he did mention something about seeing the writing on the wall this year, but if we see a tribute, i guess that answers that question.

I agree. Happy to see him develop, but he is really our only viable trade chip right now.

You asked the other day why I wasn't so sure on Cagguila coming to Van, and I realized another reason this morning. He would've played 3 seasons under Haksol who is over in Philly now. Canucks have opportunity, Philly might have the benefit of east coast and familiar coach.

That said I hope he likes Boeser and wants to join him in Van
