This year also shows that you have to get it right when the timing is right cause the secondary guys will grow out of the system and make it impossible to maintain the dynasty.

It does. But I think it's a very good chance it does.

It's a win win IMO. If Eichel is great and we have to pay him like Kane because we won a cup or 2, great. If we don't win one before we have to pay him, it probably decreases what he will get for his 2nd contract.
