in 09-10 he put up 26 points in 78 games and was a -3 player

no too bad numbers for a a kid learning his way in the nhl

when they brought in Niedermayer, there was no room for him as Lindy was going to overuse the grier nieds line

I couldn't stand Niedermayer. He might be one of my least favorite Sabres to watch over the past decade. Close competition with Weber and Ellis

I understand that these guys had good college years last year, but how good can they be?

Nashville was set to add Vesey to one of their top2 lines for the playoffs without being on the team all season...
So that should tell u something about him at least

Caggiula is on the small side,
So it's possible it takes him a bit to adjust to the NHL
Very talented though
There's a reason we invited him to camp a few years ago,
And he's progressed every year since
His NCAA tourney performance, esp the Frozen Four, was pretty awesome
