I don't understand how he is trolling you one bit. Larsen isn't signed. JB traded for his rights but no deal is done yet.
I used to think an OS was the way to go but I couldn't disagree more once I looked at the cost. No friggin way a 1st and 3rd is worth it at least now as a bottom dwelling team. It's just too up in the air how to gauge where we end up next year or even the year after. Trading for rights is the only way imo and that's less likely.
Larsen has a KHL out clause like Tryamkin too. Probably makes the team next year as there won't be a ton of competition. I could be wrong. - WhatTheNuck
He's disappeared now that he's been embarrassed. |

Very true. He walked on signing with the Oilers but there is no question he will sign July 1st. Its moot. He is not pulling a Radulov due to needing to clear waivers & in a no lose situation. As for ASL trolling it is not over this one post.
Larsen costs us a 2017 5th or a 4th if he meets certain targets. |

How do we know he has an out clause if he hasn't been signed yet?

Wow! You're right. I must have read something to give the indication that it COULD be a similar type deal. Oh well. I just don't see him coming over from KHL to play in AHL the same as Tryamkin.
Is anyone aware of Larsen and his pretty incredible stats? Not just points but his shots are what really intrigue me. He topped the KHL while averaging over 9 shots per game! That is just crazy to me. He loves to shoot. Even comparing his time in Edmonton he had better averages in stats and shots compared to Schultz. Small sample size but he could come in and turn heads.

It totally was armageddon like. People were amazing though. Really proud the people. I gave as much fuel as I had to people. (free of course) Everyone was helping people who were stranded with whatever they had for food and water, picking up people stranded. I didn't eat for a couple days but had had lots of water so I gave what I could. I felt like i could have helped more but really there is not much you can do. - thundachunk
Late to the dance on this thunda, really glad to hear you're safe, for some reason I thought you were in PG. Pretty scary poop in Fort Mac |

Larsen was 1 of 4 Oilers who walked that year. Says much about those oilers back then. Anton Belov, Denis Grebeshkov, and Roman Horak the other 3. |

I think I have seen that suggested as well, I'm just having a bit of fun.
I don't expect anything from Larsen but won't be surprised if he can be an improvement over Weber this year. |

Don't sweat it. Your opinion is still what these boards are all about whether anyone likes it or not. Take everything with a grain of salt....and Tequila if it calls for it.
We all obviously share the passion of our beloved Canucks and we all have different ideas of which direction we think they should go. Yet, none of us actually work in the organization and are probably full of poop.
The importance is to remain open to feedback and try to find common ground.

Larsen is a total wildcard but certainly an excellent gamble for the price |

Thats all they hope for is a cheap replacement for Weber & find some RHD offence. |

Good advice 😂👍🏻
Sometimes i rethink my posts & wonder why i said that.
In those cases i usually get convinced by other ppl here to see it differently.
Playing the what if game does that & occasionally new info changes my opinion. |

I agree and don't expect much but considering what JB had to work with he really found some cheap gambles this year. If Larsen can progress anything like Baertschi I would be stoked. |

FYI when i speak of trading down its due to faith in JB's ability to draft.
It still boils down to a very good offer coming our way in the end or we still pick 5th & then wait n see if any serious offers come in later. Just keeping all options open is all. What JB does with any UFA signing will predicate what happens at the draft maybe. This what i am most anxiously looking forward to 1st. |

Nothing earth shattering but a cbeap & low risk move.
Maybe a RHD PP specialist? |

Would definitely take him over a 5th round gamble. |

I'm excited to see what happens. I'd like to see us find a way to pick up another first rounder but without giving up our 5th. |
