May 24th is when season ticket holders will be told whether they got tickets or not. A full month before the draft.

That means the supply (the goddamn tickets) in Florida aren't something people are craving for. They needed a full house so they gave them away(tickets weren't a premium).

Now the supply (again the goddamn tickets) in Buffalo are something people are craving for (close proximity to Toronto and they have the 1st pick). They are charging day one only to meet this(tickets are a premium).

Day two rounds 2-7 are FREE!

Most of the people working are in concession stands and security and are paid buy a 3rd party.

There's probably less than 15% of people working at NHL events that are paid by the NHL.
