I doubt he gives up a pick for his rights either but I could be wrong, they want him there is no doubt about it. - SABRES 89
Way I see it, Stamkos' agent will be talking to Murray and others with high interest (indirectly of course) and I think it's safe to assume that come the draft, the GMs will know where Stamkos stands as far as preference.. if his mind is up about Buffalo, 100% sure thing E10, you can probably expect a trade will not happen. If Stam wants to take a look around but has reasonably high interest in Buffalo and TM definitely wants him and think he can have him at their necessary cap amount, I'm thinking his rights will be traded.
Just the way I see it. I'd love to sit down with any hockey GM and talk to them about how that works and what situations deserve compensations.

Miami heat's chris bosh was just shut down for the playoffs after missing the latter portion of the season with blood clot issues...does anyone know if there's any correlation between his issues and stammers?

I don't know, but I said it before that he hasn't been quite the same since his last big injury....and now this one. Paying $10M or more per with (what is becoming) this injury history is a BIG risk.
The past 3 seasons he's averaged 65 games played and 59 pts.....shoot, there's guys making $7-8M per with better stats
Always liked the player. He obviously needs to take the next step. I would love him to be our 4th line Center with Foligno and Gionta. They have chemistry and having Gionta on the line with him, seems to give him direction and elevate his play.
