[quote=Wetbandit1]I don't know if this was talked about earlier, or not. But it's been 10 years already! I'll never forget it, I was at the Town Ballroom to see Nevermore, Evergrey and a bunch of shiddy bands like In Flames. By the time the third period rolled around everyone was jammed into the outer bar watching it. In Flames played to a mostly empty club.
I was at a pearl jam show in Hartford following the game, as best I could, on my phone. Wasn't as easy then - had to keep calling up a score service. - turbo044
This was my first ever live nhl game. Will never forget it. Went with my dad (leafs fan) and buddy (oilers/sens fan). My buddy was so obnoxious when they took the lead right at the end. I still get goosebumps. Couldn't hardly talk at school the rest of the week

Garth compared him to Derek Roy....................... that's an INSULT - SABRES 89
Watching the video a few posts earlier brings back memories when he was just a young third liner, and was really really good. It just created more expectation than he was able to live up to as he got older.
Have to laugh a little remembering watching all the games on the Outdoor Living Network.

He was done-in when we forced him to be a 1st line center after the 2007 nightmare. It was too much pressure and responsibility for him to handle, very good on the 3rd line though. I think we've done the same with Ennis, 2nd or even 3rd line wing and he's extremely creative and a scoring threat, 1st line center he gets burnt out.
