I wouldn't be surprised to see 9. Horvat, Hutton, Baertschi, Tryamkin, Etem, Granlund, Rodin, Vey and Virtanen.

I think we see a very similar roster as this past year with 1 significant UFA and our 2 Euro's being billed as the "improvement" as well as most of if not all the youngsters starting in the AHL. Granlund, Vey, Etem will all be on the roster opening day as well as Burrows and Hamhuis.

Maybe Virtanen should play in the 'A' for a season with McCann and get some big minutes before coming back to the show. If that's the case, then I can see Gaunce in the lineup.

i'd like to see the Nux get someone behind the bench who can put some systems in place, even if the team is losing. At least the fans (and players) will know what they are supposed to do... then its just a matter of execution.

Although i thought the Caps were well balanced & too much for Pitt that was not the case. Pitt is on a roll since before the playoffs & i've always been a firm believer that is 1 key playoff component. That said TB to me has speed & better playoff proven players than the Caps & will guess TB in 6.

Caps got jobbed... Crosby should have got a major for his slash on Alzner in game 7, but he didn't get so much as a minor. the dman basically suffered a fracture and never came back...

We're done with that for 24 hours. Maybe we can avoid thread jacking when we're all back together tomorrow.

i didn't hijack a thread. someone else mentioned 'the feds' and i commented on that, and it took off from there. which btw isn't the reason you cited for the ban in the first place (you picked a comment where i quoted 'beatlejohn'... not sure if you banned him too or just me for quoting him and mentioning sensitivity around messier's alleged extra curricular activities)

pretty sure the people in this blog are pretty good at policing themselves without 3rd parties injecting themselves to direct the conversation, which had already moved on by that point anyways.
