Would you do a Bickell for Higgins, straight up?

He might be motivated to play better during the last year of his contract and maybe worth something at tdl? we'd have the cap space and Chicago might want that little bit of cap space.

I would do that, but because it would be helping chicago lose cap id hope for a 6th round pick added or something. I read on some article of trades that would make sense in the off season and it suggested that van trades with New York Islanders Higgins+Miller for Anders Lee (3.3 mill cap hit) and Halak

it all depends on the available options. I don't think JB will be spending to the cap anyways. a draft pick coming back to sweeten the deal would be okay, essentially buying a draft pick. it's not my money.

I wouldn't be against Eriksson on a 2 or 3 year contract.

whenever I see Okposo mentioned on hb, there is an Islander fan saying he isn't worth signing and the 5 or 6 mil he'll be looking for is an over payment and term too. I dunno.

I'd like a player of the Martin's ilk, hits everything or a McGinn who will demand a bit more.

both teams have earned it....n St louis is stronger than I expected too.

interesting comparison is both western teams went 7 games with both in the east wrapping up their series quicker. Equally interesting is both eastern teams have previously won a cup in fairly recent years, none in the west ... blues and sharks never winning it.

Should be entertaining.

my brother used to coach little kids hockey and he told me he heard one of them telling a similar joke...

what do you do when your dishwasher stops working? you slap the b!tch. and the kids all laughed.

he never thought they understood it and were just laughing at the cursing...

but yeah, sometimes there are esl and cultural moments. I guess it keeps it interesting.

It was a series where neither team could win at home…I think each team only had one home win.

Pre-season I picked a STL-MTL final in my challenge at work. Might be half right. Then Price got hurt and the Habs went total south.

In my playoff bracket challenge I had an SJ-STL west final and a WAS-TBAY east final. I am done as WAS choked again I had a SJ-WAS final and WAS winning the cup in 7 nut not to be.

Nashville has had a good run but SJ at home I like by 2.

If it is STL vs SJ in the west toss a coin…if it is STL vs NSH well, STL in 6.

PIT will take out Tampa but it might go 7.
