Elliott has been mostly good but has been trending the wrong way except for a couple games for a while now. Yes he must be tired. He is a back up for a reason and likely always be because of that reason.
Allen has superior athletic talent and puck handling skills. He has shown a growth in his mental maturity this season seemingly not letting goals bother him and justnlooking to stop the next puck.
His stickhandling will prove gold for this team.
The Blues in general need to choose to shoot in certain areas of the ice more and not necessarily to score but create rebounds and chaos. Jones does not have great rebound control and I do not like his positioning, especially his arms. They have to win the battles and accept calls will be unlikely in front of the net for those rebounds.
Fabbri has been very guilty of passing up danger areas to pass, which is not good, especially with his shot, to try and force passes and thread the needle. No one needs pretty goals.
The highlight you should worry the most about is when they shownthe replays of you kissing and holding the Cup. |

It's always been a series. Now a best of three. I fully expect a game 7.
Unless we can agree to just play game 5 in San Jose.

I cannot wait to watch this. Could not afford to not get a ton of work on the farm done today.
At about five or so I started to get a feeling the Blues were going to tear in.
Like I said once one went in the dam would break. |

I think the main reason they brought Allen in is because they need his puck handling back there to counter the forecheck. The Sharks are the best forechecking team the Blues have faced so far.

He neutralizes much of their attack. He played great last night. |

Blues won only one game in the 2001WCF. Meaning they are now the deepest they've been in the playoffs in 30 years. |

Burns played the dirtiest game of any player we have faced in the playoffs to date last night. It surprised me a bit.
High stick on Tarasenko's head; punch in Tarasenko's ribs; Slashing and stick work on Backes in front of the net before Lehtera's goal; Hits Brouwer from behind along the boards even though he doesn't have the puck. Worst part - refs didn't call a single penalty on any of the plays. Officiating was awful both ways and let the game get out of control. |
