I just dont like his sense of entitlement. Dumping the club that drafted him just comes off as a selfish move. i am aware its within his rights but it doesnt mean its right. I think that could rub other potential teammates the wrong way too. Hope he lives up to the hype..

I dont think i agree with this. To say Chychrun doesnt have top pair upside is a little short sighted at this point especially after his showing at the combine. I think he has just as good of a chance to be top pair as the other two

Barrie had 49 points in 78 games. Sure he might not be the best defensively but he's a very good puck moving offensive defenseman. Pair him with gorges or McCabe and that can help make up his defensive defficiencies. Golden boy Risto had 41 points and was a -21....

False....My point was everyone had Chychrun in as the best defenseman in the draft at the beginning of the year. Even murray has mentioned that he's not the top 4 locked pick like he was thought of. No complaints at #8 from me

He has all the tools. Give him time and he's going to be really good I think.
