Seems to me they're way higher on defense than they are on offense for this draft. Not earth shattering news there, but confirmed interviews were basically all defensemen

Love the idea of taking a lot of defensemen in the 2nd and 3rd round. A fair amount of defensive gems have come from those rounds over the years, we should stock up so there will be a lot of competition in our own system. It will be nice 3-4 years from now have so many NHL defensemen that there won't be enough room for them all.

Nice thing about Day is he already has 3 full years of CHL play.

He'll be AHL ready in a year.

One of those players that played at such a high level the year before their draft year..then mades little improvement during the draft year.. still a great player but was expected to take it to the next level and dominate.

You can draft a defenseman in the later rounds like in second round and still get a solid defenseman that you can develop or we could sign one

If we have a chance to trade up for TK I suggest we do it but I never like taking defenseman in the top 10 at all I hate it

I believe you can get the same type of production from a second round pick if you find the right player

I thought my boy Day was going to just be a beast at the combine and move up in the draft rankings I was kind of scared but he turned off a lot of teams with his attitude so I don't see him going in the second round anymore maybe third or fourth maybe he goes undrafted that's how poopty he was..sucks
