I'll buy a Canucks jersey if Gudbranson scores more than 7 goals.

I wonder how John Tortorella is feeling right now about seeing his old crony have so much success?

Carol.

I would imagine Tortarella feels extremely happy for Sullivan. I know personally I love seeing people I have worked with in the past succeed. Its a satisfying feeling knowing you were a part of someone else future success. True leaders make the people around them better. You would have to be a real waste of skin to dislike or lament anyone else success.

If he wins it by only allowing 1 goal, like he has been doing I think it is in the bag.
If SJ wins a game or 2 and Pens still win, I think it goes to Crosby/Kessel.

If they win but Murray lets in a few, it goes to Crosby/Kessel.

Agreed - PHWA loves Crosby, he can do no wrong and is apparently playing on another level

Cam Ward won it as a rookie goalie, so some precedence is there, but the Sid the Kid lovefest is about to take over your sports websites

I would say Crosby is playing on another level right now. That said Murray has been also and Pitt team would not have made it passed Washington and TB without him. In NY he was solid but over shadowed by the offence lighting up Lundquist like he was a junior goalie.

I dont think he is, there were times between 2011-2014 where he was unstoppable and on a ridiculous scoring pace, he isnt even close to that right now. Even his back to back trips to the finals he was producing well over a point per game, those I would consider being on another level compared to this postseason

I do agree that without Murray, this team might not be where it is. I would vote him

He's probably playing a more complete game now, but IMO if he was producing at his normal PPG pace, people would be focusing less on how good he is playing defensively

On a side note, anyone else finding these finals a little dissatisfying? In years past, including the year the 8th seed LA Kings won, I always felt like the right team won but this year I feel like if the playoffs started again there is a good chance both the finalist would be out in the first 2 rounds. Even heading into next season I doubt either team are considered one of the top 5 favourites to win it all, which just feels odd
