But who is paying the price ? Do you think Coyotes are giving up Strome ?
- VANTEL

I'm not saying that it will be Ari including Stroke but I think it would have to be Dominican as a starter plus plus even then I don't think it would work. That's why thithinkit's too tough to trade, not impossible but has to be an impact player now and probably picks back. Maybe Tampa trades with them.

I would take Bo also over RNH .

Like I said Oilers have Jesus Hall Draisitl and then it drops off on forwards

Nurse and then it drops off on D

They have four very good pieces but they been at this building for a decade.

Jesus is a very good player but how long do you think it takes teams to figure out shut him down and shut down the team.

They have to be thinking of moving the Nuge. Seems like the easiest guy to pick out as someone needing a change of scenery. Maybe Yak as well.

What does Yak Nuge and a 4th overall get you that is available?

Arizona won't give up Domi .They won't give up Duclair or OEL. No one is giving up top players. Duchene was on the trade block at TDL the asking price was too much

How many first round picks have made it in the last 10 years onto the Wings. Mantha hasnt fully made the team so don't say him.

Larkin and who else?

- VANTEL

It's not about JUST 1st round picks, but I'll answer that in a second, it's about building from ALL seven rounds.

Keep in mind the Wings went to two Cup finals in the past ten years and they've never missed the playoffs in that time either. They've traded away four 1st round picks, drafted six times in the 1st round, three of those picks are on their team, Mantha makes four. So four of six...pretty damn good.

In the past ten years they've drfated ten players who've played 100 or more NHL games for them, while winning a Cup and going to another final. By comparison, the Canucks have one, Bo Horvat.

What do you expect back for RNH? I know if I was GM I am not giving back top players. I give back a top prospect and a pick . So they start over again

Wings for 7 years have been middle of the road. They will be no different than us . The need to change their core.

Yes they have later round picks so do we Hutton Tryamkin. We had more first round picks this year on our roster than they did.

Exactly. Here's our worst first round picks. I'll bet they still finish in bottom 10 next year unless they make a huge trade. Blockbuster style.

You answered your own question Ari won't give up those guys because its their top guys and Duchene is way better than Domi or Strome. On another note, damn spell check!

We were a bottom 3 team, not a playoff team. Also, out of those 1st round picks that were drafted by Vancouver......how many remain?

I am not so sure Tryamkin and Virtanen are regarded as top players throughout the league . I know I never looked as McCann as a top player.

Virtanen is a really solid young player, he drives possession like few 19 year olds can. He's undervalued by you IMO.

Not at all . If I undervalued him would I think he would be in a Duchene proposal?

Don't put words in my mouth. I didn't even imply that.

Absolutely has potential but I think what I was getting at was if they are asking for someone they want, they will get asked about other players first.

I guess so, and they still could trade one of those other players and be fine offensively.
