The draft part is fair, and a better critique, but it's not like every other GM in the world hasn't messed up a late first round pick. Happens to everyone.

I think worst case scenario is a #3 PMD, But he could be a #2 with a very small chance(1%) at a #1.

I agree, that is why I said small chance. Any young dman showing top 4 talent can become a true #1. It is just less likely in some. As an example, if Gudbranson could pick up his scoring and net 10+ goals and 40+ pts, his defensive skill set added would make him a #1. If he can't then he will always be a #3. There is nothing wrong with having/being a #3 defenseman.

Not at all. All ppl know Price is the best there is but it showed the Habs r a 1 trick pony when he went down. That falls on the GM. Eg JB owned up our depth hurt us once big injuries hurt our vets.
