Goalies often get ranked lower due to being a goalie? i think. He is the #2 ranked goaltending prospect in the entire NHL. And so far it seems no goalie will surpass him from this draft pool.. - Retinalz
Sure but that was the list of top 100 college prospects and he ranks behind guys who were undrafted like Tanev (brandon) and Stecher among others.
I was under the impressing that Demko's season was pretty extraordinary but that ranking doesn't reflect it. |

I am also hoping he trades 1 of Hansen/Sbisa(pref Sbisa) - Retinalz
Seriously doubt it, Hansen is a good middle six forward that makes the team better, that's what Benning wants. |

I agree Ron that name calling takes it too far.
That said healthy debate is fun & we all have our opinions. - Nighthawk
I'm not sensitive to name calling or harsh language in debates so you guys can do your worst. No sweat off my back. That said I'd prefer if they remained at least a little bit relevant/coherent and not solely 5th grade name calling with no other substance.
I just prefer when people aren't so easily triggered and then unwilling to backup their poop statements and just cry troll instead. |

Nah, the oilers were just filling that age gap of 21-25 year old prospects that they didn't have under previous mgmt.... |

Funny thing is Oil always get criticized for taking Yak instead of a D man and now they have the 2nd highest drafted D-man in that draft and he is less useful than Yak but you don't hear Snow criticized much for taking Reinhart at 4OA who is arguably a bigger bust (at least at this point).
Although I suppose Snow at least did a good job fleecing the Oil and retaking some of the asset value on Grif. |

I agree, although I wouldn't be surprised to see some trades still but they will likely be more of the Grandlund or Prust variety.
Zack Rinaldo for Jordan Subban and a 3rd would be my guess. |

Either do I see Hansen moving merely pointing out what i perceive as his market value nothing more. I see 1 more other trade looming but idk who what when or why tbh. |

I dont blam oilers on drafts, they took the BPA. I would too if I had #1 overall |

Rinaldo is a plug tbh. Not happening.
Brouwer or Martin as a UFA makes more sense.

I remember quite a few of us were saying Reinhart could go way later in the 1st. Snow is criticized constantly. Not just about Reinhart though. He make for an easy target. |

Except for one little difference.....
Can you guess??? It's easy, almost a give me.
Nobody from here is on the Montreal board talking about there GM (frank)ing up.... but here you are, not a nuck fan female doging about our team...
That's why you are a troll - Pres.cup
I didn't female dog about your team at all today. I was merely commenting on a weak Habs critique. Try again.
Regardless, anyone can go into any thread and criticize another teams management without being a troll. Where do you get this idea that every thread in HB is a safe space for that teams fans where only they can criticize their organization but others can't?
Also, it's not like a hate the Nucks or anything. I actively root for them to improve and take interest in their improvement process (which is why I occasionally comment on it). |

Agreed, acting like they should have taken the 3rd or 4th best D-man on the board just because that player is better now is complete bullpoop and if someone can't see that they aren't worth trying to convince. |

I'd like to see a bottom 6 forward moved (Burrows, Higgins, Vey or Granlund (don't see it)) and Sbisa or Edler. Just thinking of losing guys on waivers or buyouts. |

I still think he has had more of a positive impact for that organization in the last 4 years than most GMs have for their respective teams. |

This is the exact the reason i think trading down makes sense sometimes.
Getting attached to picks is not my style at all.
Every GM should leverage picks if it helps the team IMO. |

With Burrows/Higgins on last hear of a contract i see no need for a BO.
1 year is not a make or break situation.
Vey still can prove himself & Granlund can be expansion fodder.
As for Sbisa & Edler we need them as depth. Both have value for us yet.
Maybe next year or the TDL they will be moveable assets. |
