Allow us to offersheet Jones and not match it so we could have a BBC tandem...

Give Edmonton Savard because of fears of not being able to protect him (because Torts has a Johnson-boner).

Any chance for the Jackets to move 3?

I was hoping the Flyers would be able to get up to 3. Something like

Sanheim
Schenn
#18
2nd rounder

Realistically, what would it take to get CLB Fans ok trading down? CGY has #6 which still gets you a great prospect, puck moving D prospects and lots of picks. We also have room to take a bit of cap off your hands.

I proposed taking the 3rd and Bob with his contract off the books.

CBJ isn't trading down unless they are getting a legit #1 center who is well under 30, and I really don't see that happening. CBJ loves their pick at #3 so they are trading from a position of strength. They'd have to be offered a legit #1 center, a decent first round pick, likely another 2nd rounder and or prospect and the other team would have to take a salary dump player like hartnell or tyutin. In return you could likely also get Rychel.

It would end up looking something like

#3, Rychel, Hartnell/Tyutin - First round/#1 C / Second Rounder/ prospect

CBJ needs picks, another center, and to dump salary/nmc players. That isn't easy and I don't see a trade being worked out.

CBJ likes Puljujarvi a lot (as does everybody) and will very happily take their player and be on their way. I'm sure there are deals to be made, but not with that pick imho.

For what it's worth, I think the best trade partner for CBJ is Edmonton. That's the only team I see anything being able to get worked out. That'd basically be a flip of Puljujarvi for Tkachuk. Likely with RNH coming to CBJ for Rychel and X player.

Really no point in offer sheeting Jones. With the cap rise CBJ will match anything he gets.

I realize this kid is tracking to be a very good NHL player but you do realize he hasn't played 1 NHL game yet. If you think we give up a centre like Bennett, #6, #35 & a prospect & take one of your sh!tty contracts? Wow. If hypothetically Feaster was still our GM who couldn't trade his way out of a paper bag & we offered up Bennett, I would want the #3 & Rychel & oh by the way, you aint getting the #6. Not sure who would do all that you are hoping to get but good luck & God bless.

If there is a trade, it'll most likely be for cap space and a couple draft picks in return.

1. #3 + Tyutin Contract for #6 + 2 2nds + decent prospect or something of that sort.

With this, Tyutin no longer needs to be protected by his NMC in the expansion draft, also opening up cap space. Also, CBJ hardly needs wingers. If Edm and Van pick Tkachuk and PLD, it leaves you w/ the best D in the draft, Juolevi, whom Jarmo seems to be high on. If not, PLD or Tkachuk. The addition picks and prospect will add to your weak D pool as well.

The other option is #3 and Bob. We hit 2 birds with one stone, goalie and #3. Similar deal but taking on a $7 mil cap hit will give you lots of financial freedom to sign Jones, and what not.

I'm not sure why people think Bobs is available. He's still (by far) the best goalie CBJ has and easily in his prime. You don't make a move right now. If THIS season is a problem, THEN you think about it next summer. This is not the summer for that move.

That was more of a general trade that the fans would be happy with Jarmo taking. Had almost nothing to do with what they would expect from Calgary, so I'm not too sure why you're so mad about it.
